I enjoy storytelling. As an English major in college, I often wrote down snippets of these tales and hoped that others would read them. Encouraged by friends, I contemplated a career in writing. My guidance instructors informed me at that time--the 50's--that writers couldn't make a good living. Publishers controlled the books that were seen by the public. I turned my love of story into the field of teaching, at first in the public school system and then in the higher education system when I received my Ph.D. Now retired, I am revisiting that need to 'spin the tale.' I live in rural Pennsylvania in the United States with two Yorkshire terriers named Hicks and Hudson. They are new members of my family--just four months old. I have one son and a lovely daughter-in-law as well as a grand dog named Kerby. Life is good. While I understand that fan groups would make good book sales, for me, I choose to spend my time on the computer--for me, it's about the story, and if one person reads it--I am happy. If you like the works, please share them with your friends. I would so appreciate that.
