A S Roper

A.S. Roper is a history-making elected public official serving as the first African American to take the judicial bench as a Magistrate/Judge in Jefferson County, West Virginia. She is only the 2nd African American woman to serve as a Magistrate in West Virginia’s state history. Although A.S. Roper is a Magistrate she will always be an educator at heart. Thus the reason she wrote and designed her first 3 books. A.S. Roper was born Arthena Sewell at Andrews Airforce Base in Washington D.C. She was formally educated in the state of West Virginia while spending her summers with family in the state of Texas. A.S. Roper is a student of life earning three Masters Degrees: Public Administration, Teaching, and Educational Leadership. A.S.
