He is a doctor with expertise in holistic medicine and a University Specialist in Psychology of Physical Activity and Sports, as well as a coach for cycling, running, and triathlon. With nearly three decades of experience in the sports field, he has worked with athletes of all levels, helping them achieve their full physical and mental potential. As an athlete, Alan has achieved remarkable milestones, including being a two-time Spanish national champion, earning fourth place in the European Championship, fifth in the World Cup, and winning the Pan-American Championship in the masters category. These accomplishments provide him with a unique perspective on the demands of high performance and the importance of a comprehensive approach to success in sports. As a coach and physician, Alan blends his practical experience with cutting-edge tools such as Training Peaks and Golden Cheetah, advanced medical assessments, and psychological strategies to design personalized programs that optimize performance and resilience. He is also the author of the "Soul and Wheels" series, where he shares his knowledge, experiences, and practical advice for athletes and coaches. Currently, Alan continues his work as a physician, researcher, and coach, while inspiring others with his passion for sports and active living.
