Author Khatari was born and raised in northern California. He is a promising up-and-coming author. His books transcend the stereotypes as he uses his own life experiences, as well as the experiences of others, to write his stories and characters. The author experienced a challenging childhood. Riddled with abuse and neglect, and witnessing violence first-hand, Khatari’s early years were dark and pained. Due to the dysfunction that surrounded him, he was often uprooted and moved from place to place. After various placements with relatives, he found himself in foster care. He eventually turned to the streets, which consequently led to a lot of bad choices. In turn, those bad choices led to youth authority, jail, and prison. There is more to this author than the street-life, though. He’s always had a love for writing. In school, he excelled in creative writing. He would always live out his stories as he was writing them. Through his most difficult times, he has used writing as a way to escape his surroundings. In addition to writing books, he creates poetry and songs, and does artwork. He loves spending time with family, fishing, and sports. He also has a commitment to mentoring children, adolescents, and young adults to help them avoid making the same mistakes he did and find value in themselves. He is happy to finally be able to share his writing with others, putting his passion to work!
