Aaron Anderson currently works at San Francisco State University serving as the Director of Strategic Organizational Initiatives with the College of Business. He has worked diligently to foster positive change in this role to improve the whole operation. He also teaches in the Executive MBA Program, typically in the first semester, offering a course titled "Managing Organizational Change." Before arriving at SF State, in the Summer of 2003 Aaron completed his Ph.D. with the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor at the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education. His research interests center on understanding resistance to change, and his emphasis in this program leaned heavily in the fields of Organizational Behavior and Management. His roots go deeper academically earning a BS from the University of Connecticut, Storrs in Mathematics Education and then later spending two years at Indiana University, in their College Student Personnel Administration program. It's his firm belief that in this new era, it's the content that matters most, and that the true measure of quality is applicability. Toward that end, Aaron firmly believes that everyone should find something useful in this work that will help them solve real organizational problems in real time.
