Aaron Hunter lectures in the Department of Film at Trinity College Dublin. He is a former recipient of the prestigious two-year Irish Research Council Postdoctoral fellowship. Previously, he has lectured in the department of media studies at Maynooth University, the department of film studies at Queen's University, Belfast (where he received his PhD in Film studies in 2013), the department of American Studies at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, and the department of English at the University of Southern Maine. Originally from Bangor, Maine, he currently resides in Dublin, Ireland.
