Publishing alongside his cousin, Levi Pertuset, this emotional and gripping story is set during one of the most devastating and influential times in our planet's history: The Second World War. The narrative hones in on the path of two young individuals from opposing sides of the conflict. One being a patriotic American boy, trying to make a name for himself in the shadow of his heroic older brother. The other, a German student turned soldier against his wishes; son of a renowned general within the Third Reich. Both writers were unified in their pursuit of a powerful story that draws the reader into a look to the past and a reflection of their present reality. Aaron is a professional educator and has invested into the lives of young people his entire career.
