Aaron Spevack

Aaron Spevack is a professor of Islamic Studies, an author of books and articles for both academic and general audiences, and a musician. He was born and raised in Albany, NY and has lived and worked in Boston, New Orleans, upstate New York, and Turkey. After a career performing and teaching music, he became a professor of Islamic Studies and has taught at several universities including Harvard, Colgate, Loyola New Orleans, and Hamilton College.
