Abby Knox

Abby has more than 25 years experience working as a sports dietitian in Great Britain, New Zealand and now in Canada. Abby truly understands the life and training demands of competitive swimming. She is a former national age group swimmer as well as the proud mother of Finlay Knox, Olympian and 2024 World Champion in the 200 IM. Abby's educational background, professional experience and life skills have given her a unique insight into the training demands and nutritional needs of competitive swimming. Over the years, Abby has successfully worked with swimmers to maximize their performance by teaching them how to fuel correctly before, during, and after training/racing and how to build their plate at mealtimes. Abby has been a guest speaker at the International Swim Coaches Association Conference, Alberta Swim Coaches Conference and continues to provide sports nutrition education seminars to swim clubs in Canada and the US.
