Abigail Laub

Abigail Subrena Laub, born in Guyana, South America, is an Early Childhood Educator, Meditation teacher on Insight Timer and the author of Abby and the Bicycle Race – A Girl, A Race and an Unstoppable Spirit. She holds a Dual Master's Degree in Early Childhood, General and Special Education from Bank Street Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from New York University. Abigail has been actively involved in education since 2016. Abigail is passionate about empowering young readers through storytelling, drawing from her rich cultural heritage and personal journey of self-discovery. Her stories are inspired by her childhood memories and experiences of feeling excluded, helping children embrace their uniqueness, inner strength, and limitless potential. Abigail loves sharing books with her nearly six-year-old daughter, passing on the joy of reading and the magic of stories. She also enjoys physical challenges like the Mud Girl Run and recharges her playful spirit by cycling across the bridges from Manhattan to Brooklyn, where she feels most connected to her adventurous side.
