Adam Beguelin

Adam Beguelin started his career as an academic at Carnegie Mellon University in 1992. He holds a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Emory University, and received his Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has been awarded ten patents. Adam came to Silicon Valley in 1996 to join Inktomi, an early search engine company. He spent 20 years in Silicon Valley, ultimately co-founding four startups there. These days Dr. Beguelin is a Puerto Rico-based entrepreneur and investor where he founded a coding school, Holberton Puerto Rico, and spends his time mentoring local startups. With his debut book, Silicon Valley Stories, he hopes to assist entrepreneurs through his knowledge of startup culture.
