Agustín Laje was born in the city of Córdoba (Argentina) on January 16, 1989. From a very young age, he became interested in political ideas, becoming a columnist for important national media at the age of 18. He is the author of the books Los mitos setentistas (2011), Cuando el relato es una Farsa (2013), and his latest work El libro negro de la Nueva Izquierda (2016), co-authored with Nicolás Márquez. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the Catholic University of Córdoba. Additionally, he studied counterterrorism and combating organized crime at the Center of Hemispheric Defense Studies, National Defense University in Washington DC. In 2020, he received a master's degree in philosophy from the University of Navarra. He has received numerous awards both in Argentina and abroad. He currently directs the think tank "Fundación LIBRE". His columns have been published in local, national, and international media. He is currently a columnist for La Gaceta de la Iberósfera, El American, PanamPost, AltMedia and El Liberal of Spain. His essays on political philosophy have been awarded five consecutive years in Mexico by Caminos de la Libertad. He has lectured in different countries, such as Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Paraguay, Ecuador, Bolivia, Mexico, El Salvador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, United States, and Spain.
