Dr. Aisha Almana is a pioneering Saudi advocate, academic, and businesswoman whose lifelong work has been dedicated to recognising the role of women in Saudi Arabia. Born in a time when women’s opportunities were severely limited, she defied the odds to become one of the first Saudi women to earn a doctorate. A champion of social change, Dr. Almana has been at the forefront of Saudi Arabia’s women’s rights movement for decades. Through her trailblazing work in business, education and advocacy, she has played a vital role in expanding women's professional and educational opportunities. She was also a key figure in the historic 1990 women’s driving rally, which laid the groundwork for future reforms. Dr. Almana’s work has been featured in international publications and academic research, and she continues to be a voice for change, inspiring generations of women in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
