Al Frazza is a proud lifelong New Jersey resident, who has had a passion for history for much of his life. He is the creator of the Revolutionary War New Jersey website, which is regularly used by thousands of people to explore NJ Revolutionary War historic sites. His first book, “State of Revolution: My Seven-and-a-Half-Year Journey Through Revolutionary War New Jersey” was published in 2022. It is a memoir of his experiences exploring the state, intermixed with historical stories and observations. In June 2024, Al published his second book, a coffee table photo book titled, “The Past Still Present: Revolutionary War New Jersey in Photos”. Al’s history work and photos have been featured in many NJ publications, including The Star-Ledger, The Record, New Jersey Monthly, and The Herald News. He has received awards for his history writing from the New Jersey Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, and the Chinkchewunska Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
