I am Alaa Abd-Elsayed, MD, MPH. I am a chronic pain physician who published more than 100 peer reviewed manuscripts, presented more than 200 presentations on the national and international level, wrote dozens of book chapters and serve on the editorial board of several journals. I enjoy interacting with my patients and learning from them. My patients inspired me to write some books and to conduct certain research projects. I am a patient advocate and I try my best to enhance science to provide better care for patients with chronic pain conditions.
