Alan Batson

Alan Batson, started professional life straight out of Solihull College and plunging into the advertising industry, to become an Art Director. Pulling the tail on that paper tiger, and finding a mouse more to his liking, he started training and illustrating with the Walt Disney Company. Alan has worked now on hundreds of children’s books, for a diverse client base (Disney, Universal, Dreamworks, Minecraft - to name a but a few) including work on Random House’s Gold standard, Golden Books, where he’s chalked up over 25 titles (see the Disney “I am” series and Ghostbusters) and still counting. Filling the corners as the Production Designer on the multi Award Winning Friends and Heroes TV series, he does have some time spare for his wife, Catherine and his 3 children Joseph, Elena and Daniel…Benji also goes walkies too.
