Alan Brown

The biggest influence on my writing has been Alfred Hitchcock. I love writing mysteries with a twist at the end. All my books are based on actual life experiences that I have had. The reality of those life events takes dark turns into my imagination. My books are best read on stormy nights, under the covers. I grew up a child of the sixties in the suburbs of Kansas City. I live in St. Louis now with my wife and three daughters. I also have three grown sons. I took up writing on my 60th birthday. It was something I always wanted to do but never seemed to have the time. Age has a way of providing clarity to one's priorities in life.
