Alan Frost

Alan Frost is an award-winning middle grade and young adult author, certified translator, and certified editor. After over 15 years working as a translator, proofreader, and editor, Alan decided to take the plunge and start publishing his own material. His main passion is subjects that extend the boundaries of what we think possible, in particular modern fantasy and time travel. Professionally, Alan holds a master's in business administration from Copenhagen Business School, is certified as a Danish-English translator through the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, and is certified as an English proofreader and editor through the College of Media and Publishing. Alan's debut title, "A Most Unusual Friday Knight", is a middle grade (ages 8-12) time travel story and was released on November 1, 2021. It is the first of two books in the "Shawn From the Shed" series. This was followed by the YA modern fantasy novel "The Slayer, the Seer, and the Dream Stealer", which is the first in the "Dream Gate" series. Even though his family is from Washington DC, Alan resides in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he spends as much of his spare time as possible enjoying nature, playing sports and annoying his friends with bad jokes and (hopefully good) story ideas.
