Alan Wade

Alan is the author of The Dreaded CurlyWurly Fish stories. He originally began writing them for his grandchildren. He wanted to create fun-filled adventure stories to make them laugh and to help develop their reading skills. They were so delighted with the stories, they took them to school to read out in class and they became a hit with their friends. That inspired Alan to share The Dreaded CurlyWurly Fish with others. Alan teamed up with his daughter Sarah, who created the illustrations. She worked closely with Alan to ensure his vision was carefully brought to life. The book tells its story in a fun and exciting way with the moral of the story being “don’t mess with Grandma and Grandpa”! Each book contains educational fun facts about our oceans and the creatures that live in them. The book has also been transformed into a YouTube video that brings the story and characters to life with a little animation and sound effects.
