Aleksandra Rohde founded Dale Street Books, which publishes writings by General George S. Patton Jr., in addition to other rare documents and books, as listed on its website at dalestreetbooks.com. These include never-before published and out-of-print works pertaining to the Mexican War, World Wars I and II, and military strategy. "American Expeditionary Forces in Europe 1917-1918 from the German Perspective," and "Battle of the Meuse-Argonne from the German Perspective," by German Staff Officer Herman von Giehrl chronicling the last days of World War I, are especially poignant. For tank enthusiasts, “Operations of the Tank Corps A.E.F.,” by Samuel D. Rockenbach, documents the development of the U.S. Army Tank Corps during World War I. Other reports, books and articles listed on the Dale Street Books website offer likewise unique insights into the bloody first half of 20th Century. Colonel Rohde is retired from the Army Judge Advocate General's and is an Iraq war veteran.
