Alex Holloway is an experienced data professional with over 15 years’ experience across multiple industries in both public and private sectors. He has worked as both an employee and consultant during this time and is passionate about finding valuable information and insight in data and sharing this with others. Having used multiple data technologies (past and present) and systems, his varied experience has allowed him to condense this broad knowledge into a set of general principles which can be applied in any context. This experience has also highlighted the value of both soft skills and technical skills to the effective data professional: a principle reflected throughout his work in the approach taught to analysing data. Alex lives in the United Kingdom and continues to work as a consultant and author.
