Alex Ilaoa

Alex Ilaoa, an architect turned children's author, blends her creative expertise with a passion for storytelling. Mirroring architecture, she loves the iterative design process and collaboration that goes along with creating a picture book. She lives a relaxed lifestyle in the Georgia Golden Isles with her husband, toddler, and freckled pup. "Bizzy the Carpenter Bee" is her debut book, made possible by a successful Kickstarter campaign.
