Alex Leviton

Alex Leviton is a long-time author, journalist and former editorial director. She now runs The Third Layer, where she relies on her experiences traveling, writing, managing and mentoring to facilitate pre-creativity around the world. She has written for Lonely Planet since she was in journalism school at Berkeley, way back in 2002. She led the Bluelist travel writing competitions for Lonely Planet in 2006 and 2007, and spent a year in-house as Author Liaison Manager. Her favorite book for LP is Explore Every Day, 365 of her favorite prompts for daily creativity.
