As a long-time Army-spouse of nearly 15 years, Alexandra has been working closely with military members for over a decade. She notices the change in health and lifestyle that an increasingly demanding military mission has not only on her own family but on everyone around her. People seem to lose their zest in life. We live our lives in a monotonous way. We work to earn money, but everyone can see the absence of joy in our daily routine. This, of course, is not only happening on military installations and within the military community. Our whole society is suffering from this problem. Alexandra's heart beats for military service members, their families, and veterans. This is why she targeted this community with her book, in which she introduces holistic approaches to health and wellness to grab problems like PTSD, anxiety, stress, and depression at their root. Alexandra is a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (CHHP), registered yoga teacher (RYT), tai chi instructor, personal trainer, meditation teacher, and reiki master. It's this knowledge that she draws from when asking her readers to think about self-care outside the box and to take back ownership of their personal health. Besides writing, Alexandra also coaches individual clients and groups, she presents national and international seminars, workshops, and lectures regarding holistic health, physical & mental well-being, and life-long happiness. She hopes that "Healing the Military Soul" will empower the entire military community.
