Alexys Vaulkenroth

Alexys Vaulkenroth is a muralist in Lexington, South Carolina. She began her art business in the mid-90s while living in Saudi Arabia with her then-husband. Since women could not get out and about on their own, she had a lot of empty time on her hands, so she put her hands to good use. She began painting for those around her and pointillism. When she returned to the States in 1997, her mother's friend asked her to paint a mural in her kitchen. From there, her business took off, calling it "The Camel's Brush" due to its inception in Saudi. After many years of painting and drawing on large walls, ceilings, furniture, canvas, and paper, she shifted to writing in 2006. From then until 2024, she did little artistry as she threw herself into her family and ministry. After publishing forty-six books, she returned to her art roots. She is also a book publisher through her ministry "The Fiery Sword Global Ministries" under "The Fiery Sword Publications." She now uses AI to illustrate children's books when her clients request it. Her dual-website shares her ministry—which includes her books, and The Camel's Brush.
