Ali Al-Zaak was born and educated in Baghdad, then earned a doctorate in Microbiology from the University of Queensland in Australia. Besides his many scientific books and publications, he writes novels, poetry, and short stories that combine particulars, history, and mythology. He is the author of seven literary books; three printed: "Are you brown name in a blacklist? Love in the time of Nebuchadnezzar, Cucaracha, and four Amazon eBooks: Kirkuk-Istanbul: A tale of two cities, The Immortal Mesopotamian, After Alexander punished the Persians, and the Quatrains poetry book.
