Hi there, I’m Alicia. I am a certified Nutritional Therapist who would love to share her experience with healing chronic skin conditions (rosacea in my case) using only natural methods and by focusing on a healthy diet, active lifestyle and emotional well-being. Four years ago when I was first diagnosed with rosacea, I refused to take any medication. Instead, I decided to take a natural, holistic and intuitive approach towards my body in order to find and tackle the root cause of my skin issue…I succeeded. Six months later I had rosacea-free skin. It has now been over three years and I haven’t experienced a single flareup. Conventional medicine and medical treatments are failing in treating chronic skin conditions because they only focus on the skin layer whereas, I strongly believe, the root causes for most skin issues lie much deeper. All my work concentrates on chronic skin conditions and addressing them at their core. I have no doubt that the most effective way of managing any chronic skin condition is with the best nutrition and holistic wellness. In my first book “Healing rosacea with an anti-inflammatory diet and healthy lifestyle” I am sharing my personal journey towards a clear skin and presenting all the steps I took to reverse rosacea. I'm also including the theories and suppositions behind my approach. The next book I am planning on publishing will be a “Rosacea healing cookbook” full of amazing gut-healing, liver-supporting, anti-inflammatory and gluten-free recipes.
