Dr Alison Leonard

Dr Leonard specializes in the archaeology and history of Vikings and the early medieval world. She obtained her first degree (Joint Honours in History and Anthropology) at McGill University, Montreal, and holds an MA Hon and PhD in Archaeology from the University of York, UK. Dr Leonard has worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of York and the University of Cambridge. She has taught as affiliated lecturer in History and Archaeology at the University of Cambridge. She currently lives in Canada where she is working on her next book.
