Allan Moseley

Allan Moseley is Associate Dean of Biblical Studies and Senior Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He earned his M.Div. and Ph.D. at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Before beginning his teaching career, he served as a pastor for 15 years. He has written, edited, or contributed to ten books, and has written over one hundred articles and Bible studies for publication. While at Southeastern, he has also served as an interim pastor at numerous churches, and he has lectured and preached widely. Allan and his wife Sharon have three married children and nine grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and fishing, and he struggled with whether to use this biographical sketch to display a photograph of himself holding the big fish he caught recently.
