Allison grew up in rural Kentucky. Her summers were spent attending every local church’s vacation bible school and library event she could get to. She was called to serve in college when she stumbled on a job as a child care provider at a local church. She changed her major to education and hasn’t looked back. Allison has served her community as an educator for 20 years. She's been a teacher, interventionist, consultant, author, and national trainer focusing on early childhood STEM, literacy, social emotional learning, and inclusive curriculum design. When she's not teaching, you can find her at the local library with her sons searching for their next favorite reads or leading inclusive storybook events for young children and their families. She lives in southern Kentucky with her husband, two boys, and one Goldendoodle.
