Almendra studied Chemical Engineering and works in the industrial sector. She has had a passion for writing ever since she was a young girl. Even then she loved creating characters and imagining stories that she shared with those around her. Over time, she realized that writing children's literature is her greatest joy. With all that she has learned and the new things she discovers every day, Almendra tells stories full of adventure, fun, and fantasy that are, above all, about values. Her dream is that her stories reach young readers so that they have a good time reading while learning how amazing they are. Award-winning author in the International Latino Books Awards 2024 for her books La tienda de Salva and Kibou.
