关于作者

Alois Heigl (Caracas, Venezuela) began working on television at the age of 19, at the Guayana TV Channel, where he trained as a producer while graduating from the Central University of Venezuela. Before making the leap to RCTV, Venezuela’s main TV network, he worked as a producer, moderator and wrote his first scripts. He was forced to emigrate to Austria in 2000 and has been living in Vienan ever since. After the publication of his first book, The Third Resurrection, by the prestigious Latin American Publishing House, Oveja Negra, Alois Heigl understood that his true path was the world of literature. In 2021, Oveja Negra published his new book, My Dog’s Worst Friend, which was translated into English, then adapted for a feature film. His work will be featured at the International Book Fairs of Frankfurt and Guadalajara. Heigl is a multifaceted man, developing as an author, businessman, athlete, actor, choreographer, stand-up comedian, but he considers his greatest achievement to be that of being the father of Daniel, Braian, Adrián and Mateo.
