Alvin Crawford

Alvin Crawford is a retired Spanish teacher living in Mesa, Arizona. He has studied Spanish in Spain, Guatemala, Mexico and Costa Rica. After traveling to Spanish countries Señor Crawford returned to Miami, Florida to earn a Master's Degree in Modern Language Education. He has taught children and adults from kindergarten to junior college. The Just Enough to Speak Spanish series provides instruction to students in the eighth grade to junior college. Alvin taught Spanish in the public school system for twenty years. He learned that the public school was not set up to teach a language. After making a DVD series to teach children he decided that the best way to learn a language was from a book and a CD. Thus, the Just Enough to Speak Spanish series was conceived. Alvin is a firm believer in the see it, hear it, say it, write it method of teaching.
