Alvin M Hayes is the creator and successful author of the whileBlack Chronicles’: "If Cotton Could Talk," "If The Elders Call," "If New Orleans Could Talk," and "If Chicago Could Talk." He has been interviewed on YouTube's “So Tell Me About Your Book” series, featured at Miami Dade Library's Local Author Series program, and a contributor to the African American Literary Book Club, AALBC. He is passionate about re-living history through compelling stories depicting African American experiences, sophistication, and accomplishments, regardless of era. “Until The Lion Tells The Story The Hunter Will Always Be The Hero”-African Proverb Alvin, a native of Hartford, CT, now resides in South Florida after retiring from a successful career in sales management for a Fortune 100 technology company. He holds a BS in Sociology from Tennessee State University and is a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He is a member of the South Florida Writers Association (SFWA) When not working on his craft, Alvin enjoys golf, car trips with his girlfriend, a vegan and seafood diet (Pescatarian), listening to jazz, watching great athletes perform no matter the sport, and caring for the Clownfish in his small saltwater aquarium, a thankless task.
