Amanda B. Nickerson

Amanda Nickerson wears many hats, including professor, director of a research and outreach center on preventing bullying and school violence, author, researcher, consultant, and mother. She is committed to conducting research to understand and prevent violence, including bullying, sexual harassment, and other forms of abuse. Dr. Nickerson loves translating research to practice to put it in the hands of people who make a difference. She frequently presents to and consults with schools, organizations, parent groups, and students to help promote safety, social-emotional competence, and healthy relationships.
