Amy Anderson

Amy Anderson is a visual artist and arts educator based in the Birmingham, AL area. She has almost a decade of arts education experience and began teaching art lessons in 2015, working with organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, Girls Inc, and The Cultural Arts Center. In early 2021, she established ART & Soul, a teaching studio that allows others to learn and create art. She is an advocate for more art classes in the community with her first book, "Become a Teaching Artist: The Ultimate Guide" available now on Amazon. She specializes in painting abstract florals, the human form, and local city scenes. Her artistic goal is to bring the magic and colors of nature inside the modern home. With an academic background in Psychology, she worked in local schools providing substance abuse awareness before becoming a full time artist.
