
Amy Block Joy, PhD, was born in New York and educated at the University of California, Berkeley. As a faculty member, scientist, researcher, and educator, she became a Professor Emerita following a 35 year career at the University of California. In 2006, while on the faculty, she discovered fraud at UC Davis and published three books about the case: Whistleblower (2010, Bay Tree Publishing; 2018); Retaliation (2013, CreateSpace); and Blowback (2017, CreateSpace). These books detail the consequences and dangers after of speaking out about wrongdoing. Currently, Amy teaches a Freshman class at UC Berkeley.
