关于作者

A Life in Art and Creativity Amy Collins grew up in a small rural town in Pennsylvania, where her passion for art flourished from a young age. Encouraged by her family but guided by practicality, she initially considered majoring in fine art. However, her father advised her to pursue a career that would allow her to use her artistic talents in a stable profession. Taking his advice, she enrolled at Kutztown University, where she majored in Graphic Design—a decision that blended creativity with career security. It was at Kutztown that Amy met her future husband, who introduced her to pottery, a craft she immediately fell in love with. After graduating, she spent several years working in the graphic arts industry, designing logos, billboards, and marketing materials. Though she enjoyed her work, she continued to explore other artistic mediums in her free time. Three years after graduation, Amy married her college sweetheart, and together they settled in an old farmhouse just outside Philadelphia. While raising their three children, she discovered yet another artistic passion—photography. She purchased her first professional camera to document her children's lives, and soon, her natural eye for composition and lighting led her to turn photography into a profession. Specializing in family portraits, she built a successful photography business, capturing cherished moments for countless families. Amy Collins’ journey is a testament to the way creativity can evolve and flourish in different forms. Whether through graphic design, drawing, painting, pottery, or photography, her passion for visual storytelling remains at the heart of everything she does.
