Amy J. Smith has taught in Catholic schools for her entire teaching career. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Ball State University and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Huntington University. She lives in Indiana with her husband, daughter and son. Her favorite prayer is the Surrender Novena. The inspiration behind this collection from the author: God showed me a holy moment as I prayed during Adoration at a Kingdom Builders gathering. I was moved by the Holy Spirit to pursue a mission that I had been thinking of for a couple of years. I wanted to create an Adoration booklet for my middle school students to help them focus their thoughts and prayers on the Blessed Sacrament when we attended during the school day. I just needed time to put my ideas on paper. Since this time, I have created a few variations of Adoration prayer journals and have been able to share them with others. I found this opportunity to actually create a book that I could give to my students so they could track God's Greatness in their lives. To me, this was another holy moment that God gave me to make this dream a reality. Thus a series of books were created to give focus to my students. Middle School students need some time to reflect on the direction of their lives. I pray my collection will help others as well.
