Amy Jill Quan is an optometrist, educator, wife, and mother of two playful daughters with vivid imaginations. She spends her days juggling patients, optometry students, family schedules, and, on occasion, actual balls. She and her family enjoy hiking on sunny days and snuggling inside during bunny storms. Her daughter, Lina Quan Baruffi, is an aspiring artist. At five years old, she has been sketching longer than she's been walking without tripping. She is currently a kindergarten student, looking forward to many firsts, most notably her first illustrated picture book, first lost tooth, and, of course, first grade.
