Amy Newfield

With more than 20 years of experience, Amy Newfield is a leader in the veterinary profession. Once earning her veterinary technology degree she obtained her credentials as veterinary technician and then sought to achieve her master's degree in Management and Leadership. In 2003 she earned one of the profession's highest credentials, Veterinary Technician Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care (VTS, (ECC)). Amy is an award winning international speaker and author of more than 50 articles and book chapters. She has held several board positions in various organizations within the veterinary industry. Her first book "Oops, I Became a Manager" was released in 2020 and focuses on creating healthy veterinary teams. It won the Gold Medal for the Reader's Favorite Awards in 2022 in business books.
