André Gray is an inventor who adamantly believes in prioritizing open source over profits for the betterment of humanity. As an independent inventor and software engineer, he has made significant contributions to the field of technology. Gray is known as the Godfather of Internet Inventions and is credited with composing and uploading the first complete song on the internet titled “Internet Killed The Video Star,” in 1988. Gray is also credited with inventing the electronic ticket, ringtones, electronic press kit (EPK), the world’s first Internet bot, and Mind-Over-Matter Technology, to name a few. To date, Gray has 16 inventions and several innovative designs and coined phrases to his name, and he is regarded as one of the five greatest inventors of all time.
