Andrea Adams

Andrea Adams apart from being an author, is an entrepreneur, activist and proud wife and mother. After quitting her corporate job at a prestigious marketing firm in Denver 5 years ago, she started a health food café with her sister, Maria. The café was a great success and has since opened several other locations in Colorado. Andrea only works part-time in managing the business and has taken a step back to focus on her real passion: creating recipes and writing. When she is not experimenting in the kitchen, you’ll find her hiding in a quiet corner of the house plugging away on her laptop—that is, when she is not cheering in the stands at her sons’ football games or helping them with their homework. She also fosters stray dogs and helped found a shelter for injured and abused animals. She now lives in Boulder with her husband and three sons.
