Andrea Harrison

Andrea Harrison, a retired elementary school teacher became a self-employed content marketing writer in 2016 after re-discovering that her true passion is to tell stories. Recently, Andrea has published her first children’s story book. From very young, Andrea was always creating stories, some she wrote down and others she kept in her head, yet never had the courage to turn any of it into a book, until now. Andrea’s inspiration for her children’s book came one morning when she awoke and a working title just popped into her head, “The Selfish Shellfish”. Andrea brings to this book her teaching experience, passion for words, concern for the planet and how this will impact the younger generation. Her wish for this book is that it will encourage dialogue between young children and the influential adults in their lives to teach them to become conscientious custodians of our planet.
