Andrea Olsen

ANDREA OLSEN, writer, performer, and interdisciplinary educator, is the author of four books on embodiment: BodyStories, Body and Earth, The Place of Dance, and Moving Between Worlds. She is a professor emerita of dance at Middlebury College in Vermont, USA and was visiting faculty at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, California. She performs and teaches internationally and is a certified teacher of Holden Qi Gong. Current projects include continuing the Body and Earth: Seven Web-Based Somatic Excursions film project with Scotty Hardwig and Caryn McHose (http://body-earth.org) and screening the multi-award winning film Matkalla (On The Journey) co-created with Scotty Hardwig and Eeva-Maria Mutka.
