Andrew James Ramirez

Andrew James Ramirez was born at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in the city of El Paso, Texas. After earning his BA degree from the University of Texas at El Paso in the fields of Criminal Justice and Sociology, he moved to the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin. Immersed within the Red River District and 6th Street music scene, he bonded with a group of musicians and began photographing live performances. Andrew is a classically trained musician who’s creative writing has been published in the El Paso Times and his live music photography showcased by music label Throwdown Records.
