Andrew Thelander was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1960. He has lived most of his life in Brisbane, Australia. His debut novel, LAST BIRDS, was published by BeWrite Books, UK in 2009. With the closure of BeWrite Books, Last Birds has been released through Createspace under Andrew's original title: DO KANGAROOS BELIEVE IN GOD? He is a former prize winner in the Todhunter Literary Awards. His other novels are THE VISIT OF ARIYA IDDHI, a darkly comic yarn about Climate Change politics in Australia and CALLISTO, a Science Fiction novel for Young Adults. His latest book is non-fiction, SHOULD I SUE? ANCIENT AND MODERN WISDOM ON THE RIGHTS AND WRONGS OF LITIGATION. Andrew is a prize-winning ethicist. His special interests are wildlife, birds, photography, the environment, writing, film and ethics. He also speaks Swedish and some Spanish.
