Angela D. French

​"I love living in Hong Kong. One look at my Western nose and green eyes and people around me instinctively make allowances for my blunders and gaffes. It’s okay for me to be stupid there." ​ Angela D. French moved to Hong Kong in 2005, where she accepted a position as music director in an international church. She grew up in a small town in central Texas (United States), where she spent most of her childhood reading, writing, making music, and speaking American English. Angela earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (Belton, Texas), a Master of Music from Baylor University (Waco, Texas), and a Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary (Baylor University). ​ Angela still resides in Hong Kong, where she enjoys celebrating local holidays, eating dim sum, spotting monkeys in the hillsides, and attempting charades when necessary.
