Angie Klink

关于作者

Angie Klink is an award-winning author of twelve books. She has written for the American Writers Museum, Ms. Magazine, and Traces of Indiana and Midwestern History magazine. Klink was the scriptwriter for two documentaries narrated by actor Peter Coyote: the public education film Rise Above the Mark and Eternal Flame about Tom Kelly, member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In her book Forging Ahead, Klink brings to life the story of the evolution of Nix Industrial, a blacksmith shop that is now a burgeoning metal fabrication industry in tiny Poseyville, Indiana, led by fifth-generation CEO Matthew Nix. Klink paints a vivid portrait of a business saga from America's Heartland, a family tale, a coming-of-age story, a business handbook, and a letter to future generations. Klink has received sixty-one American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards, including a Lifetime Achievement honor. A six-time attendee of the Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop at the University of Dayton, Klink received an Honorable Mention in the Erma Bombeck Writing Competition. She holds a BA in communication from Purdue University.
