I had never considered myself a writer. Eating in the Light of the Moon evolved out of requests from my clients who "wanted to read more" about the concepts we were discussing. It began as a small booklet and then, as it morphed into something much more, I added the stories and metaphors I often used when trying to explain those concepts. To this day, I find myself surprised that I wrote it. Interest in the book has launched a busy workshop and speaking schedule. While based in Hawaii and Colorado, I travel around the U.S. and Australia, Canada, and Europe. Having been born and raised on the small island of Guam, I continue to find my travels exciting. I love storytelling -- whether to large groups at conferences and universities or with smaller, more intimate groups at book signings, workshops, and treatment centers. Much of my work is now online with the Light of the Moon Cafe www.LightOfTheMoonCafe.com which is a combination of a book club, women's circle, and interactive workbook for Eating in the Light of the Moon. I am passionate about this work and love interacting with my readers from all over the world. You can learn more about me at DrAnitaJohnston.com
